Police in New Brunswick are investigating after a van armed with a gun was seized during a security operation to arrest a man accused of stealing property from a New Brunswick home in 1995.

The driver of 바카라the van was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of heroin. He was remanded in custody for four days before being charged.
Detective Constable Greg MacDonald with Stow Regional Police said that when police were made aware that the man’s name and address were known to local residents, an investigation began.
“It was then that they received reports that an individual had been involved in a large scale, drug dealing and property seizure operation that had taken place at a local home on Christmas Eve 1995,” he said.
“After the information about the incident, the officers travelled to the home and recovered a weapon that was believed to be linked to the robbery.”
Mr MacDonald said the man they arrested was not involved in the property crime.
“We were not planning to seek any other charges against him whatsoever,” he said.
Police say they do not believe anyone else may have been involved in the crime.
